Lucelle operates an online platform that helps travelers find fee‑free stays by connecting them directly with property owners.

We do not operate a booking engine, collect rental payments or act as an agent.Instead, Lucelle serves as a marketplace that puts interested guests and hosts in touch so that they can make their own arrangements. This document explains how we handle personal data and the conditions under which you may use the Lucelle platform.
Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
Lucelle (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of visitors and users. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it and the rights that individuals have regarding their personal information. We operate under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other relevant data protection laws applicable in the European Union.
2. Information We Collect and Information you provide to usWhen you create an account, submit an inquiry or otherwise use our services, you may provide personal information such as your name, email address, telephone number and other contact details. On similar rental platforms, providers typically collect contact information like first and last names, phone numbers and email addresses when users make a reservation. Lucelle collects similar contact details so that we can forward your inquiry to property owners and facilitate communication between you and the host. We also collect email addresses for our own marketing list; marketing messages are sent only if you opt in, and you may unsubscribe at any time by following the instructions in our emails. Wedo not collect payment or banking details because Lucelle does not process bookings or payments. You may also choose to provide additional information, such as descriptions of your travel preferences or messages to hosts. Any content you share on the platform may be visible to the receiving host and to Lucelle administrators for moderation and support purposes.
Information automatically collectedWhen you visit our website, we collect certain technical data about your device and usage. This may include your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed and the date and time of each request. Like many websites, Lucelle uses analytic tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to record this information for statistical purposes. GDPR guidance notes that analytics tools may process data such as unique user IDs, page titles, URLs, screen resolution and the user’s location. These data help us understand how visitors interact with our site and improve our services.
Cookies and tracking technologiesWe use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember preferences and analyze traffic. Some cookies are essential for the website to function; others (e.g., analytics cookies) help us improve the platform. You can control the use of non‑essential cookies through your browser settings or via any cookie‑consent tool we provide.
3. How We Use Your InformationWe process personal data for the following purposes:
Connecting guests with hosts.
We forward inquiries and contact details to property owners so they can respond to your request. Rentler’s terms make clear that such platforms act only as a venue and are not a party to any rental agreement. Lucelle performs a similar role; we share your contact details with hosts so that you can communicate directly and arrange a stay.
Providing and improving our services. We use collected data to operate the platform, troubleshoot issues, analyze usage and develop new features. For example, platforms often use your information to enhance security, fix bugs and develop new tools.
Communications and marketing. We use your email address to send service‑related messages (e.g., account notifications or updates to this policy). We also maintain a marketing mailing list to inform you about Lucelle news and promotional offers; we will add you to this list only if you explicitly opt in. You can withdraw your consent and unsubscribe at any time.
Compliance. We process data as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
4. Legal Basis for ProcessingUnder the GDPR, we must have a lawful basis to process personal data. Lucelle relies on the following grounds:
Performance of a contract. When you register or send an inquiry, we process your data to perform the service you have requested—putting you in contact with a host. Similar services collect contact information to fulfil rental requests
Legitimate interests. We have a legitimate interest in improving and securing our platform, understanding how users interact with our services and sending non‑promotional communications. GDPR guidance recognises that website operators may collect analytics data and other technical information for such purposes.
Consent. We rely on your consent for optional marketing emails and for certain cookies. You can withdraw your consent at any time by following the unsubscribe or cookie‑preference instructions on our website.
5. Sharing and Disclosure of InformationLucelle is not a booking agent. When you submit a stay inquiry, we will share your contact information with the relevant property owner so that they can respond and, if both parties agree, arrange a stay. We do not intermediate or collect payment for any resulting booking. Rentler’s terms stress that such platforms do not own or manage rental properties and are not a party to any rental agreement; Furnished Finder similarly states that it is not a party to any rental transaction and does not guarantee the safety of any transaction or the accuracy of listings. Lucelle follows the same principle—hosts and guests are solely responsible for any rental agreement between them.We may share personal data with trusted service providers (e.g., hosting companies, analytics providers or email services) who assist us in operating the platform. These providers may only process data on our behalf and must adhere to strict confidentiality obligations. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
6. Data RetentionWe retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. If you close your account or request deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data, except where we are legally required or have a legitimate business reason to retain certain information.
